The AU Ambassador to South Sudan, Prof. Joram Mukama Biswaro said, “you cannot stay in the expensive hotels, spent extravagantly and then point fingers on the government for not funding the implementation of the Peace deal.’

AU ambassador to South Sudan made the statement after his meeting with President Salva Kiir at the State House on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, ambassador Joram Biswaro called upon the opposition parties to cut down on their extravagant spending and give space for the Government to allocate funds for the implementation of the peace deal.

The Minister of Foreign affairs and international Cooperation Awut Deng Achuil, said, The President explained to the AU ambassador to South Sudan on why he accepted the 100 extension of Pre-Transitional period.

Hon. Awut also said, President Salva Kiir pledged his commitment to release the remaining funds to facilitate the implementation of the outstanding tasks on the peace agreement.
