President Museveni voted NO for releasing Dr. Riek from house arrest saying Riek would cause war again!
President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni disagreed with other regional leaders to release Dr Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon on Friday 29th November 2019.
Dr Abiy Ahmed and Uhuru Kenya have agreed to release Dr Riek Machar as ordered by US, UNSC and other International bodies but President of Uganda have disagreed saying that “If Dr Riek is released from house arrest he will go straight to train his soldiers and he will turn back the country to war”
He said that Salva kiir have sacrificed alot to bring peace to Southsudan but now if we give Dr Riek Machar a chance to move freely in the region he will do something bad that we’ll regretted.
