South Sudanese Pound Is Gaining Strength Against United States Dollar After Revert To Ten States

The South Sudanese Pound is gaining strength against the United States Dollar (USD) currency.

The new development has been attributed to President Salva Kiir’s announcement to return the world’s youngest nation to its original ten states.

Authority in South Sudan Chamber of Commerce says the decision made by the president contributed to the rise in the local currency against foreign currency.

The Secretary General of Chamber of Commerce, Simon Akuei expressed hope that South Sudan pound will continue gaining strength against foreign currency.
