Despite COVID-19 lockdown Bahr el Gazal highway construction in speed progress [Photos]

The Minister of Presidential affairs in RTGONU Mayiik Ayii Deng on Saturday, visited the construction site of Juba – Rumbek highway to inspect the progress of the Project.

Speaking after inspecting the road construction project, Minister Mayiik Ayii Deng said, there is ongoing progress at the construction site of Juba-Rumbek highway despites the outbreak of coronavirus.

Minister Mayiik Ayii said, developmental projects in the country cannot be stopped because of coronavirus but instead safety measures have been imposed for the safety of the workers.

Hon. Mayiik further said, the workers are observing social distancing and other safety measures while carrying out their work at the road sites.
